I was taking a short break after traveling around Osaka by staying overnight in Kuala Lumpur. Before heading back to my routine, Mr.HATT and I stayed 2 nights at Dorsett Hotel, Bukit Bintang.....in KL. We were landing in KL on Friday night and the traffic from airport to Bukit Bintang was crazy! Mr.HATT and I stuck in the road for more than 3 hours. Exhausted and hungry! Our first impression of KL are ruined by the traffic scene, though Jakarta's traffic are the same or even worse hahahaha....#sarcastic
The location of Dorsett Hotel is not exactly in the middle of Bukit Bintang area, its actually behind the main road of Bukit Bintang. From Dorsett we can walk a bit then entering Fahrenhait 88 Mall from the backside for a shortercut pass to the main area of Bukit Bintang. Pssstttt.....there are a small discounted book store called Book Xcess that run by the famous Big Bad Wolf just inside this Fahrenhait Mall. A must go for book lovers!
The Dorsett Hotel is not really big but the rooms are comfy and elegant. Location wise, its not in the crowded area of Bukit Bintang but, close enough to the excitement, perfect! It is a four star hotel and really like one, quite posh and sophisticated. Mr.HATT and I didn't try their breakfast b'coz we want to eat like locals while we were in KL so, I can't give any information about their food qualities. Other than that, our stay in Dorsett were nice and really worth the money we spent. A night there cost us around IDR.800K, standard rate for a four star hotel I guess.
